Hola! My name is Maria Rojas, I'm tweenty years old, and I currently live with my family in Henry County, Kentucky! I have three brothers (23, 19, 13), and a sister (10).  

     I am a full-time college student at Jefferson Community and Technical College and plan to transfer to the University of Louisville (I'm majoring in Nursing). I also work full-time for a non-profit organization known as Cedar Lake Lodge. I work with with residents with the most severe and profound intellectual disabilities, those with medically complex diagnoses, dementia and behavioral challenges. I love my job and my residents have been a HUGE blessing in my life!

     I am very close with my family and friends, so when it comes to killing time we do whatever comes to mind right that second. I love adventure, sports (UK fan, Fo sho!), talking/meeting people, photography, traveling... I really dislike swimming... yeah I know. 

      I've been on three mission trips: Tennessee, Georgia, and Honduras. They were all  a huge blessing in my life. I'm really excitied to see what God has planned for this trip. I'm ready to share his love with others! I'm so pumpedI can't wait, and I can't wait to met you all!
